Olowo explains Plateau Utd switch

Centre back, Emmanuel Olowo has said the quest for new challenges and titles informed his decision to pitch tent with the top-flights, Plateau United.

The former Heartland strongman starred for the oriental side, Abia Warriors in the immediate past top-flight.

Olowo said he will bring his wealth of experience to bear on the Tin City landlords’ desire for laurels in the
upcoming Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season.

“I’m now a full-fledged player of Plateau United as I have signed the dotted line for one season’s contract with the side.

“I’m satisfied with what was offered as I was immediately made to feel at home.

“I’m certain to bring my experience to bear as well as contribute my quota to ensure the side is a success in the coming season.

“I switched over to Plateau United to have a guaranteed future as well as face new challenges and contest for laurels.

“I have not featured for any side in the northern part of the country so the Plateau United offer comes as opportunity for me to have the experience playing up there in the north.

“My dream is to win trophy, first focus on the league shield then the Federation Cup, we are certain to win one or both at the end of the upcoming football season,” said Olowo to supersport.com.
