Ocholi: APC NWC pays condolence visit to family

The Acting National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Engr. Segun Oni has said that the party is highly traumatized by the passing on of the late Minister of state for Labour, Barrister James Ocholi, describing the passage as a “Sad incidence”.
He said this when he led a delegation of the APC National Working Committee (NWC) to pay a condolence visit to the Ocholi family Kado residence in Abuja.
Oni who arrived with the APC NWC members at 11:20am, recalled that the late Minister had served the party as its interim Deputy National Legal Adviser and was always passionate about any and every assignment given to him without any expectations whatsoever.
He said: “We are highly traumatized by the incidence because he was a man that was readily available without ego and passionate about his work. We have lost a gem who qualifies and exemplifies a true Nigerian worthy to emulate”.
Responding, the late Minister’s younger brother, Okpanachi Ocholi while thanking the APC NWC for the visit, said the sad event “was like a dream”.
Prayers were later offered for the deceased and the family.
Some of the NWC members with Oni included: Alhaji Mai Mala Buni, National Secretary; Hajiya Ramatu Tijani Aliyu, National Women Leader; Senator Lawal Shuaibu, Deputy National Chairman (North); Dasuki Jalo, National Youth leader, Osita Izunaso, National Organising Secretary amongst others.
