Obaseki endowed with uncommon qualities, says forum
Edo Forum of Patriots (EFP) has described the state governor, Mr. Godwin Neghoghase Obaseki, as a man “endowed with uncommon qualities who is ready to make Edo a business hub for foreign investors and a land of prosperity, peace and justice.”
In a letter to the governor signed by Austin Atakpu, the EFP congratulated him on his victory at the Supreme Court.
The letter reads in part:We pray God to endow you with passion, divine wisdom, understanding and good health to pilot the affairs of Edo State to an enviable height.
In the past few months of your leadership, we have seen in you a man endowed with uncommon qualities who is ready to make Edo a business hub for foreign investors and a land of prosperity, peace and justice. We have no doubt in our minds as members of EFP, the pan Africa non-partisan and apolitical group, that Edo under your reign will experience unprecedented advancement in all ramifications.
Just recently, we observed the inauguration of your executive council in a manner that further elucidates your quality as a true technocrat and subsequent configuration of ministries based on international standards.
As Governor, we wish that under your excellent leadership Edo State irrespective of party, tribe, culture, class and creed will be carried along in all your thoughts and actions.
Edo Forum of Patriots Inc. (EFP) as a critical society and arguably a hub of Edo intelligentsia will continue to assist in all ways possible and offer more than necessary in a way that Edo can be counted amongst the enviable tourist destinations in Nigeria in particular and the world at large.
Our prayers and good thoughts are with you as we look forward to a united, egalitarian society that mines all her mineral and human resources towards providing comfort, security and social equity for all.”
