NPFL: Anambra Warriors plot Rivers Utd fall

Isaac Loute has revealed that Ifeanyi Ubah’s target is to score goals aplenty when they host Rivers United in today’s Nigeria Professional Football League encounter.

The Anambra Warriors are below their visitors, Rivers United on the NPFL log but the Republic of Benin international, Loute has ignored the current NPFL standings insisting that the Nnewi outfit will record a big win.

“The Nigerian league is now very competitive; the tactical and technical approach is more direct. It’s really close in the NPFL, but FC Ifeanyi Ubah is a mile ahead of the other clubs,” Loute stated.

“Experience has shown that the number of goals may be needed at the most important stage at the end of the season, that’s why we are determined to not only win games but score goals as well. You may ask MFM FC how it panned out when they visited us.

“Before the start of the season we lost to Rivers United during the NPFL Super 4 but it will be a different approach this time around.”
