Niger police assures of adequate security in the state.

The Niger State police command has yesterday mobilised its joint personnel and patrol round Minna as “show up’ in the state capital and its environs to ensure peace and security of lives and properties.

Addressing the journalists at 123 parade ground in Minna, the State Commissioner of Police, Zubairu Muazu said that criminals would have no place to hide in Niger state hence would not hesitate to arrest anyone no matter his or her position in the society.

Muazu, however, expressed satisfaction over the cordial relationship amongst all the security agencies in the state hence will together fight crimes.

He assured the entire citizens of the state to remain calm and be law abiding as well continue to go about their legitimate businesses without fear of intimidation.

The joint security operatives include the Nigerian Police, Nigeria Security and Civil Defense and Nigerian Army.
