The Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) in Enugu state says it is partnering with Prisoners’ Rehabilitation and Welfare Action (PRAWA), a non-governmental organization to promote and publicise the Nigerian Correctional Service Act, 2019.
The command’s Public Relations Officer, Mr. Monday Chukwuemeka, said this in a statement issued to newsmen on Sunday in Enugu.
Chukwuemeka said that the promotion and publicity would be done through a well-packaged radio programme.
He said that the programme would enlighten members of the public especially stakeholders on the provisions of the Act and how it affects them.
“NCoS in Enugu dtate partners PRAWA to promote the Nigerian Correctional Service Act through the production of radio programme, which is known as community corrections’.
