NAF test-fires another locally weaponised A-Jet Aircraft

The Nigerian Air Forces has launched another locally-modernised weapons for its fighter jets.

Nigerian Air Force last Thursday successfully test fired another locally weaponised Alpha Jet aircraft acquired from overseas without weapon delivery capability.

The latest feat makes the third Alpha Jet aircraft to be so reconfigured and weaponised locally.

The NAF spokesman Group Captain Ayodele Famuyiwa said in a statement that at the heat of the Boko Haram insurgency,NAF had acquired three Alpha Jet aircraft from private individuals in the United States however without combat capability.
