Monarch admonishes youth on free, fair election in Nasarawa

Emir of Keffi, Alhji Chindo Yamusa has called on youths in Nasarawa state and beyond to stay clear from act capable of causing confusion before, during and after 2019 general election. The monarch gave the warning at a one-day security on managing electoral violence organised by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corp (NSCDC) in Lafia, Nasarawa state capital. According to him, the youth should cooperate with the security agency, especially NSCDC, in ensuring violence free election in 2019, adding that the future of any society is determined by the quality of the youth. “Let me register my appeal to the agile youths of Nigeria to cooperate with NSCDC and other security body in Nasarawa state and beyond, in ensuring violence free democratic process in 2019. “It is pertinent that the future of any democratic society is determined by the quality of its youth since they are the greatest assets that any nation can have to guarantee violence free election”, he stated. Speaking earlier, the Nasarawa state commandant of the NSCDC, Mamod Bala Fari, assured that he is fully prepared for the general election, stating that some of his men are currently undergoing training on election management process.
