Microsoft finally gives up on windows mobile OS

It seems Microsoft has finally admitted that it’s Windows Mobile OS failed. I actually knew it’ll be dead on arrival. Windows Mobile came with a completely ugly user interface and most developers preferred to develop Android and iOS apps instead.
I hate being bias and definitely you’ll agree with me that Windows Mobile failed.
Even Bill Gates is using an Android Phone.
Microsoft hasn’t released a major Windows Phone update in 2 years, making it painfully obvious that the platform was dead.
Here’s the tweet by Microsoft’s Corporate Vice President of Operating Systems, John Belfiore.
Joe Belfiore ✔@joebelfiore twitted “We have tried VERY HARD to incent app devs. Paid money.. wrote apps 4 them.. but volume of users is too low for most companies to invest.”
When Asked If They’ll Support Current Devices Joe Belfiore ✔@joebelfiore twitted “Of course we’ll continue to support the platform.. bug fixes, security updates, etc. But building new features/hw aren’t the focus.”
