Maldini leads tributes for late father Cesare
Some of the biggest names in Italian football have paid their respects to AC Milan and Italy great Cesare Maldini. The former Milan defender and Italy coach died on Sunday and was remembered by many at his funeral on Tuesday. Cesare’s son Paolo – who also represented Milan and Italy with remarkable success – led the tributes after the funeral, penning an open letter alongside siblings Monica, Donatella, Valentina, Paolo, Alessandro and Piercesare Maldini.
