Andre Ayew Decides To Quit Marseille

Ghanaian striker, Andre Ayew, has refused a new contract with his French club Oympique Marseille.

Ayew’s current deal expires in June and according to French media reports, the son of the legendary Abedi Pele Ayew has turned down new terms.

The refusal of Ayew to discuss new contract terms with the leading French club could suggest that he is keen to move to England where notable teams Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and Newcastle United are keen to obtain his services for free this summer.

OM president Vincent Labrune has urged Ayew to reconsider his stand, but the attacker has admitted to close friends that he desires a change of environment.

AS Roma Chief Walter Sabatini is also monitoring activities in the French club concerning Ayew and is ready to compete with Premier League clubs for the Ghanaian. Sabatini, it is reported has already made contact with Ayew’s representatives.
