Lawmaker, Yishawu begins distribution of 1,000 free JAMB forms

As part of his educational support to the youths, member of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Gbolahan Yishawu representing Eti-Osa constituency 2 has commenced the distribution of free Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) forms to 1000 students.
Addressing the beneficiaries, Hon. Yishawu popularly urged the students to study hard and make use of the opportunity given to them judiciously in the forthcoming examinations.
He further appealed to the students to desist from any form of social vices rather focus on their academics that will take them to greater height.
“Education is the bedrock of any nation to grow and that is what prompted me to extend these forms to you,” he said
Speaking with some of the beneficiaries, Nowel Felix who expressed joy over the good gesture of the lawmaker, prayed for his success in the forthcoming election.
According to him, “this man has put smile on the faces of masses and I pray that God will reward him with good things of life.”
In her contribution, Akinola Praise who is also a beneficiary said she heard about the opportunity to get free JAMB form and she grasped it. “I say a big thanks because GOY has helped a lot of people.”
Another beneficiary, Faith Eledu said she came to collect the form because of financial constraint of her parent. “I appreciate him for the great privilege given to the students in this constituency,” she said.
Some of the parents who followed their children to the lawmaker’s constituency office could not hold their joy, with the opportunities for their children.
One of the parent, Mrs. Vivian Eledu said, “The lawmaker is doing well and we appreciate his effort and I prayed that God will grant his heart desire. In a programme like this, some lawmakers in Lagos State discriminate because you’re not from their constituency, instead he treated us equally.”
Corroborating her, Mrs. Labinjo Funke and Adeyanju Medinat promised to vote the lawmaker in the forthcoming election. “God has been using him to bless lives. He had also distributed GCE forms before now and still continues to extend good hands to his constituents.”
The distribution of the sixth edition of GOY JAMB forms which commenced on Thursday, January 14, 2019 is expected to end on Tuesday, February 5, 2019. Patrick Okohue
