KSB Biography, True Life Story, Personal Records, How He Started And How He Rose To Fame
King Steve Benjamin popularly known by his stage name as KSB is a famous Nigerian singer, songwriter, producer, recording artiste and stage performer. He was born on the 20th October, 1993 in Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State in the southwestern part of Nigeria. He is currently 28 years old.
He is originally from Ekiti State in the western part of Nigeria. His father is a Certified Surgeon, Reverend, author and business Mogul. KSB was expected to follow his father’s career to being a surgeon. At the age of 12 , KSB completed his primary school education and obtained his First School Leaving Certificate.
After completing his primary school education at FSP Benin City , KSB proceeded to Temidire Adebiyi Standard College, Ondo State and obtained his West African Senior School Certificate. KSB was introduced to the Nigerian music industry by 2008
After completing his secondary school education, KSB proceeded to Moscow to study Computer engineering but decided to quit his studies and pursue music fully.
In 2017, KSB released his first debut studio album “Ado 2 Moscow”. The album was successful and sold millions of copies worldwide. In 2018, KSB released his debut EP“KSB.”. The EP accepted global recognition and sold millions of copies worldwide.
In July 2020, KSB released his second debut studio album “KSB (Knowing Steve Benjamin)” with hit singles like Highness, Mama Ya doma and Loké The songs from the album ranked high on some billboard charts.
KSB’s Journey Into The Music Industry
A very interesting fact is that his parent were in full support of his music career right from a tender age, KSB followed his passion and today KSB is a music icon. He started his music career by playing the Drums for churches.
Humble KSB, once expressed his joy at the reception and success of his decade-long career which has earned his debut single in Russia, a place where he is the only African top rated artist on the billboard chart in that hemisphere.

He recalled how he called his mother to express his joy over the achievement in a country where he was just a student who migrated to another part of the world to study over a decade ago.
“It is so amazing, because 10 years ago, I was performing in clubs and played the instruments for 5 differents churches on a Sunday here in Moscow, and 7 years now, for me to be rated high in music with my first single is just humbling.”
KSB Music career
The talented entertainer uses both Afrobeats and Afropop in honor of his mentor “Wandecoal” to bring life to his songs. KSB’s first album ‘Ado 2 Moscow’ debuted in 2017 and he has 2 albums and 2 EPs currently.
After KSB’s separation from Veblen Muzik, he founded his own record label “KSB Vibes” in late 2020. and signed “Wizard” alongside two producers, “DG music and Слипер» Also, in the same year he signed a Multi-Million Rubles album deal with “TJ Entertainment” an international record company based in Russia.
KSB has had a successful music career so far.
