Kogi University students hail Buhari

Students of the Kogi state owned university, Anyigba, have described the nomination of one of their lecturers, Professor Stephen Ocheni for ministerial position as positively instructive to put a round peg in a round hole.
The students body in a statement signed by its President and Secretary, Omepa Shuaibu and Muhammadu Buhari respectively and made available to journalists on Tuesday in lokoja, the
kogi state capital, said the nomination of Oche showed that President Muhammadu Buhari, was ready to appoint qualified and tested people into government.
The students stated that they were convinced that Ocheni with his track records would perform brilliantly which will meet the yearning and expectation of the people.
Also , the forum of the Kogi University ex- students leaders, commended the President and the Kogi state governor, Yahaya Bello, over the nomination.
A former secretary general of the SUG, Bash Mohammed said the minister designate would implore his expertise and skills to restructuring the economy and the workforce of the country.
The former student’ leaders noted that Kogi state and the country at large would benefit from the experience that Ocheni had acquired over the years in the public and academic offices.
Ocheni’s kinsmen through their community organisation, Igalamela Community Stakeholders in a press conference yesterday in Lokoja said Professor Ocheni is compatible with the President’s dogged fight against corruption.
