Kerry Washington congratulates Genevive Nnaji in Igbo on her movie submission for Oscars 2020
American actress, Kerry Washington has taken to twitter to congratulate Genevive Nnaji on her movie (LionHeart) submission for Oscars 2020 while showing off her Igbo writing skills.
According to the actress, “This is glorious!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also… Anyi nwere ike i ga rie nri ehihie n’oge n’adighi anya?”
While Genevive replied saying,”Nwunye anyi daalu. Ka eme ya ngwa ngwa maka anyị nwere okwu. Love you sis.”
The Nigerian Oscar Selection Committee has chosen a movie, LionHeart directed by Genevive to represent Nigeria for the 2020 Academy Award for Best International Film.
