Katsina Fire Incident: FG delegation arrives in Katsina

A High powered federal government delegation is in katsina state to pay a sympathy visit and get first-hand information over the katsina central market inferno that destroyed properties worth billions of naira.

They are led by the minister of justice and attorney general of the federation Abubakar Malami and had engagements with the market leaders.

On the delegation are; minister of interior Ra’uf Aregbesola, minister of humanitarian affairs, disaster management and social development Sadiya Farouq, minister of aviation, Hadi Sirika, minister of police affairs, Maigari Dingyadi, Presidential spokesman Garba Shehu and the minister of justice and Attorney general of the federation, Abubakar Malami.

They are led by some top state government officials which include the secretary to the state government, Mustapha Inuwa, Commissioner for Health Yakubu Danja, commissioner for commerce, trade and investment as well as commissioner of police Sanusi Buba.

The delegation has promised Federal government’s succor to arrive within 2 weeks from today after concluding investigation into the incident.
