Jonathan Is Best Man for the Job, Says FCT Minister

Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Senator Bala Mohammed, has described President Goodluck Jonathan as the most qualified person to lead Nigeria to a greater glory.
Speaking on Wednesday before a crowd, at a town hall meeting, organised by political and civil society groups in the FCT, under the auspices of Goodluck Support Group, where President Jonathan was unanimously endorsed, he hailed Jonathan as an educated, young, cool, calm and calculated Commander-in-Chief, who had successfully launched Nigeria on the path of greatness.
An estimated 50,000 supporters of Jonathan and the PDP National Assembly candidates in the FCT filled the National Women Centre, Abuja, and its precincts chanting pro-Jonathan songs.
Mohammed listed some of the achievements of the Jonathan administration in FCT, which included affordable and social housing, rail mass transit, construction of the airport and Kubwa express roads, the land swap programme, the Abuja Town Centre project and the Jabi Lake Resort project.
He commended Jonathan for reequipping the army and building a multi-national coalition that is on the verge of stamping out the lingering crises of insurgency and terrorism from the country.
Mohammed also referred to the achievements of the present administration in rebuilding and repositioning Nigeria’s economy as the largest in Africa and one of the 25 largest economies in the world.
