Gov Wike condoles Saro-Wiwa family over death of son

Rivers State governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, has expressed shock at the untimely death of the Late Keenule Beeson Saro-Wiwa, son of the late Keenule Beeson Saro-Wiwa, Ogoni environmental right activist.

In a statement issued on Tuesday by Simeon Nwakaudu, Special Assistant to Governor Wike on Electronic Media, he expressed shock over the death of Mr Saro-Wiwa (jnr) .

He described the death of Saro-Wiwa (jnr) as a major loss to Rivers State, Nigeria and humanity.

The statement added that the Late Saro-Wiwa (jnr) devoted his life to humanity, pointing out that his transition to
glory has left a vacuum that will be difficult to fill.

While condoling with his immediate family over the untimely death, Governor Wike prayed God to grant them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
