Gero eyes top-four finish for Swedish club
Nigeria striker Alhaji Gero has revealed that he hopes his new Swedish club Ostersunds FK will finish within the top four in the new season.
The new season in Sweden gets underway this weekend and Ostersunds will play their opening match on Monday at Hammarby.
“We have a very good team and we will fight to finish in the top four,” the 22-year-old Gero said.
“I have fully settled in as there are two other Nigerians in the team, Monday Samuel and Omoh Michael.”
Last year, Ostersunds won promotion to the Swedish top flight after they finished as runners-up to second division champions Jonkopings Sodra IF.
