Four die in Ibadan road crash
Tragedy struck in Ibadan in the early hours of Monday as four people died in an auto crash at Uncle Joe axis of the Mokola- Sango expressway.
It was learnt that the only survivor from the lone accident, a lady, was on danger list in an undisclosed hospital with serious injuries and a broken leg.
It was gathered, besides, that five people, three boys and two ladies were coming from a night club together with others in two cars.
An eyewitness said the three cars were coming from the Dugbe area of the road heading to Sango area with on top speed during whentheir blue Corona car with registration number Lagos EKD 470BJ, lost control while trying to overtake the other cars.
The car reportedly hit the median of the road and so the death of a lady and three boys on the spot.
It was further learnt that it took men of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), the Nigeria Police and others about an hour before the four dead bodies could be recovered from the damaged car.
The Oyo State spokesperson of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), Mr. Oluwaseun Onijala, said that the lady who was critically injured was rushed to the state General Hospital, Adeoyo.
