Foods That Treat, Prevent Pimples

What we eat has a powerful effect on our skin. While there are foods that can complicate matters on our skins, some help prevent skin pigments like pimples and help keep skin clear. It’s always annoying to look at your face in the mirror and see some other things sitting on your skin. Yes, if you have done all that needs to be done to get rid of your pimples and it’s not gone, it’s time for a diet switch.
Take note, it’s not limited to these foods; surely there are others foods that can treat pimples but these are the most effective ones. They are;
Spinach
Spinach is one effective veggie you can eat to clear up pimples. To get rid of pimples, you could either cook it or make a face mask by blending it with a little water and applying it on your face for 20 minutes. This will remove dirt, oil and inflammation from your skin, thus refreshing and rejuvenating it from within. You can also drink spinach juice with other vegetable juices mixed as you like it. Cocoa
Naa, I don’t mean that you should grab the next bar of chocolate you see. Cocoa is actually a wonderful anti-pimples agent that you have probably not heard of yet. Here I mean dark cocoa, or alkalized cocoa powder. Dark Cocoa powder contains 100% cacao content. It is very rich in taste, contains no sugar and is great for your skin. Though it is lower in antioxidants than regular cocoa, it is higher in alkalinity. You can get them in popular stores and pharmacies in Nigeria.

Fish (salmons, tuna)
Changing your diet from beef to meat might just do the trick. Fish is rich in Healthy omega-3 fatty acids and this boost your skin’s defenses against UV damage. In a study published in the April 2009, researchers found that adults those who ate a little more than 5 ounces of omega-3-rich fish such as salmon and tuna each week decreased the development of precancerous skin lesions by almost 30 percent. You see why you should prefer fish?

Carrot
If you are the kind of person that has cravings for sugar, this might be your favorite. Carrots are rich in Vitamin A in the form of beta-carotene, which is a powerful weapon against pimples. Eating carrots with a healthy diet will reduce pimples significantly, in as little as 2 week. Carrots are also naturally sweet, so they help keep you from reaching for those problematic foods that lead to pimples like sugar, junk food and fast food.

Honey
Honey is a natural acne treatment that can help cure acne in two different ways. Eating honey reduces sensitivity of the skin. Using honey masks and kills bacteria on the skin. So both ways you are safe. But the best kind of honey for treating acne is pure and natural honey, collected from bees that feed on tea tree bushes. Some of you may have tried it and it never really worked, that because you probably used refined honey. Pure honey can do the magic.

Avocado
This tasty green fruit, rich in vitamin E, can also increase your skin’s vitality, The fruit and seed contain powerful natural chemicals and antioxidants that have been shown to treat inflammatory skin conditions such as psoriasis, pimples and eczema.
