Ekiti to construct 40 lock-up shops

The Ekiti State Government has commenced the construction of an additional four blocks of 40 lock-up shops at the Fayose Market in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital.

Speaking with journalists, in Ado Ekiti, Governor Ayo Fayose reiterated the commitment of his administration to boost economic activities in the state.

Fayose, who spoke through the State Commissioner for Lands,

Housing and Urban Development, Prince Taelolu Otitoju, said that the new shops would help reduce the problem of insufficient space for traders.

He assured the owners of kiosks and other temporary sheds, whose stalls were removed from the market of priority consideration in the allocation of the new shops when completed.
