EDO PDP Urges Binis to Support Jonathan
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo State has urged the Bini people to reconnect with the PDP-controlled Federal Government by voting for President Goodluck Jonathan.
The party supporters, while holding a rally tagged Operation Final Push on Tuesday, at the Garrick Memorial School, urged the Bini to support the party.
Addressing the mammoth crowd, Okunbor said “the time has come for the Bini and Edo people to connect with the Federal Government in order to continue to be relevant in the scheme of things”.
Esama of Benin, Chief Gabriel Igbinedion, also reminded the crowd not to make the mistake of falling into the opposition and pointed out that the state suffered being in opposition with the government at the centre during the then administration of late Prof Ambrose Alli.
Former Senate Whip, Senator Roland Owie urged the people to vote for the PDP to allow continuity in infrastructural development in the state.
