DSS operatives clash with Sunday Igboho’s supporters in Ataoja’s palace

On Saturday, supporters of a Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo aka Sunday Igboho, clashed with Department of State Service operatives in the premises of Ataoja of Osogbo, Oba Jimoh Olanipekun (DSS).
According to a video obtained by our reporters in Osogbo on social media, the incident occurred on Saturday evening following the Yoruba Nation rally, which Igboho attended.
A video showed a middle-aged man named Seun Olayinka being detained inside a car while being interrogated by a man and a woman.
Olayinka, who was dressed in an Ankara, said he was sent by the Federal Government and has worked for the DSS for six years.
He admitted that he was recording the plate numbers of vehicles in Igboho’s convoy when he was apprehended by the agitator’s supporters.
He pleaded with his backers to let him go.
On Sunday, another video surfaced on Facebook showing Sunday Igboho paying Oba Olanipekun a courtesy visit after the rally at Nelson Mandela Freedom Park via Old Garage in Osogbo.
Sunday Igboho walked out of the hall after meeting with the king, while some of his aides whispered in his ear.
“Where is he?” he asked. What vehicle did you use to transport him?”
Later, some DSS operatives tried to reach the palace to speak with Sunday Igboho, but his supporters blocked their way.
The squad’s chief, who was armed with a gun, pushed his way through the crowd of supporters.
Other members of his squad remained close to the palace’s perimeter fence as he pushed through the supporters.
When the leader persisted, Igboho’s supporters accused him of firing bullets, gunshots were heard.
They assaulted the operatives and abused them. As the video finished, some of the operatives fled into the palace’s open space for cover.
