Dosh Lowkee, Tech Cabal​, Others Shine at 202​4 RAY Signature Entertainment Awards

The 3rd​ Edition of The RAY Signature Entertainment Awards (RSE) lit up Lagos with a celebration of Nigeria’s brightest stars in entertainment and media.

 

Among the night’s big winners was Afrobeat artist and entrepreneur Sunday Stephen Aladeyekun, better known as Dosh Lowkee, who snagged the “Entertaining Personality of the Year” award. The event buzzed with energy, showcasing the incredible music, media, and cultural talent driving Nigeria’s creative scene forward.

 

Dosh Lowkee, the mastermind behind Dosh Entertainment Empire, has made waves not only with his Afrobeat hits but also as an FX trader and savvy businessman. His ability for connecting with fans across platforms helped him shine in a tough category.

 

Another standout moment was Tech Cabal taking home “Tech Brand of the Year.” The platform, a go-to for sharp insights on Africa’s tech world, was recognized for blending innovation with storytelling. “We’re beyond excited to be celebrated alongside such amazing talent,” a Tech Cabal rep shared, doubling down on their mission to highlight Africa’s digital growth.

 

DJ Bossbeat also had a big night, earning the “DJ of the Year” award. The crowd cheered for his killer sets and undeniable influence in the DJ scene, proving he’s a force to be reckoned with.

 

Since kicking off in 2021, the RAY Signature Entertainment Awards has become a major platform for recognizing Nigeria’s top talent—think musicians, entrepreneurs, and social media trailblazers. This year’s event honored those pushing creativity and culture to new heights, with a nod to innovators, philanthropists, and creators shaping Africa’s story.

 

Hosted by MC Rhelax and Talking MO, the awards announced winners across 19 categories, with 135 nominees who went through a tough judging and voting process. Other names making noise included Kogbagidi, MC Edo Pkin, Mc Acapella, Ruger, Nola Adetola, Asake, and Segun Johnson.

 

Nigeria’s entertainment scene—think Afrobeat, Nollywood, and digital content—has the world’s attention, and the RSE Awards are all about fueling that momentum. Organizers shared how proud they were of this year’s diverse winners, hoping to inspire the next wave of dreamers and doers.
