It was all glitz and glamour at the official premiere of ‘The Island’movie held at the Genesis Deluxe Cinema, Palms Mall, Lekki.  The well attended event had the presence of talented superstars that includes Segun Arinze, TBoss, Femi Adebayo, Mavin singer, Di’ja, Ossy Achievas, Craze Clown, Yaw, MC Senator, Pencil, Hilda Dokubo, Bisola Aiyeola, Ushbebe to mention but few.

The Island Movie opened in cinemas across the nation yesterday Friday August 10, 2018 as the movie is created primarily to showcase the best of Nigerian culture and to give viewers an in-depth, enjoyable cultural experience whilst celebrating the efforts of the Nigerian military force. The Island is a fiction which creates a perception of corruption in the nation’s security which intent of challenging patriotism amidst corrupt influences. Shot in Kaduna and major parts of Lagos, the movie featured a stellar cast making it a production to look out for.

With a better a way to start, the movie already bagged a total of 10 nominations at the coming Toronto International Nollywood Film Festival (TINFF). Directed by Toka Mcbaror and co-produced by the duo of Daniel Cole and Freda Francis
