BREAKING: Unknown Gunmen Kidnap Mission School Students In Plateau

In the early hours of Thursday, four students from Capro Secondary Mission School in Gana Ropp, Barkin Ladi Local Government Area, Plateau State, were abducted.
Three of the students, however, have fled, while one remains in captivity.
Calvary Ministries operates the school.
Capro is about 60 kilometers from Jos, the state capital, and a few kilometers from the Yakubu Gowon airport.
Reverend Gideon Para-Mallam, a global mission leader and President of the Para-Mallam Peace Foundation, reported that the attackers smashed the school’s rear fence and drilled a hole to gain entry to the school compound, abducting the students.
He went on to say that security forces intervened to avoid what might have been another mass kidnapping because the attackers fled after learning of the increased security in the region.
Three of the students were able to flee while the kidnappers fled.
The Plateau State Police Command has yet to issue a statement on the incident, which comes as community efforts to free the abducted student continue.
