Boboye lauds LBA, 1960BET

Abia Warriors gaffer Kennedy Boboye has applauded Nigeria’s foremost betting brand, 1960BET, for introducing financial incentive in the monthly awards for outstanding performers in the NPFL organised by the League Bloggers Awards (LBA).

Boboye, who emerged as the inaugural winner of the LBA in this term’s Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), has since received his monetary award for his performance in the month of February.

“I’m proud to be the inaugural winner of the LBA Manager of the Month award this term. The fact that 1960BET has introduced financial incentive makes it even better for the LBA.

“It’s good to see people appreciate your effort.

“Moreover, this will boost the performance of coaches,” he stated.

Boboye, who made an impact at Sunshine Stars last term, is doing well at the Umuahia side and has guided his team to an unbeaten run so far.

1960BET made history in 2014 as the first brand to present a new car to a player in Nigeria when Enyimba star Mfon Udoh was named as the LBA Player of the Season.
