Binani dragging INEC to court, exercise in futility- Saidu

By Tom Garba

The Adamawa State All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Senator Aishatu Dahiru Binani has dragged the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for not recognizing her as the governor.

Binani took INEC to court to also seek interpretation of her declaration by the suspended state Resident Electoral Commissioner, Barr Yunusa Ari Hudu who illegally declared her the winner of the last governorship election.

But her action had been described as an exercise in futility abd an anathema to the norms of a decent politician.

Mallam Sa’idu Sarkin Zana, a concerned citizen who is a card-carrying member of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, said the APC’s gubernatorial candidate has successfully decided to embark on a no-return journey of an exercise in futility.

According to him Adamawa indigenes and all lovers of democracy will never allow politicians with anti-people policies to govern the state.

He said Binani’s second thought to drag INEC again to court will never amount to anything.

Zana revealed that the desperation of the APC gubernatorial candidate is the main reason why her political career is dying and may not likely rise again.

He called on Adamawa citizens to relax and to be at peace because her decision will never change the course of destiny. After all, God has decided to willed power to Rt Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri power.

He enjoined well-meaning individuals to support the PDP government in the state as according to him, the government is performing more than the expectations of the Adamawa people.
