Better opportunities exist for youth, women in SDP – National Publicity Secretary
A government of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, will provide better opportunities for Nigerian Youths and Women. The SDP government will to achieve the eradication of youth unemployment set aside a reasonable percentage of the national budget for the creation of jobs for able bodied young men and women and fresh graduates from our country’s institution of higher learning.
Our intention is to make the youth the pillar upon which a greater and more prosperous Nigeria is built through gainful employment and eradication of all forms of youth restiveness
This is why we are calling on Nigerian youths and Women to join hands with us to build this party so that together we will record success in all the elections slated for next year.
Nigerian Youths and Women should heed the wise counsel of former military president General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida who recently admonished the youth and women to join the SDP because it is made up of credible people that can also be trusted
To emphasize his belief in the potentials of the party to reform Nigeria, IBB had said that if he had been young, ” I would have volunteered to lead the youth vanguard of the SDP”
One of the principles of the new invigorated SDP is for experienced elders to mentor and propel the youths and women to participate in critical sectors of governance in Nigeria.
SDP therefore invites Nigerian youths and women individually and as groups to troop out and embrace this party by registering as members in their various wards.
