Bello assures of people oriented programmes in Niger

Governor Abubakar Sani-Bello of Niger state has assured citizens that he would use the next four years to work towards leaving a system that would put the welfare of the people at the center of governance in order to allow them continually feel the impact of the government.

He stated this in Minna, the state capital, when he received All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders from Niger South Senatorial District on a congratulatory visit following his victory at the gubernatorial polls.

The governor said that he would ensure he leaves a workable system that would enable citizens have a sense of belonging, adding that “such a system can only be possible if we ensure continuity in governance.

“I want to leave a system that is workable and the system that will continue to take care of Nigerlites, especially those that have nobody and cannot fend for themselves.

That is why it is very important that we build in the next four years a kind of system that will take care of people’s welfare as we move forward.”

He urged APC stakeholders from the district to ensure unity, fairness and justice so as to keep the hope of the party alive.

“Our party is built on fairness, equity, and justice and that is what will bring love to our party. We must stand united and we must also show fairness, equity and justice especially when it comes to appointments.

“What is important is for us to work together so that we are able to fix the state. So we must put Niger state first.

We must continue with people oriented projects so that when we go for another election, our party will deliver at all levels.

“We must make sure that we engage in activities that will integrate and not disintegrate the party,” the governor stated.

While commending the stakeholders for their support towards his victory at the polls, Gov. Sani-Bello applauded them for the organization and calmness displayed before, during, and after the general elections.

Alhaji Abubakar Magaji who led the APC stakeholders from Niger South Senatorial District assured the governor of their unalloyed support for his administration and promised that its members would continue to contribute to the progress and advancement of the state.
