Forward, Kabiru Balogun has said he wants to announce with goals his debut for the former Nigerian champions, Kano Pillars.

The petite striker campaigned for the demoted side, Ikorodu United in the immediate past Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

Balogun said his mission to the Pyramid City side is to win the available silverware in the land.
“Of course, I’m with Kano Pillars right now for the upcoming 2016/17 NPFL season.

“I expect to achieve many things with Pillars, win the league and Federation Cup titles as well as a return to the continent.

“I came to Pillars to cement flowering career as well as enjoy more playing time.

“I have already started to enjoy myself even before the commencement of the NPFL season.

“I have started scoring goals in some of our preseason matches and I fervently pray it continues in that direction.

“Sincerely, I want to announce my debut for Kano Pillars with goals when we take on FC IfeanyiUbah in the NPFL matchday 1 clash in Kano.

“We are working very hard to ensure we clinch the whole three points at stake in the clash.

“The clash against FC IfeanyiUbah is certain to be tough but we have told ourselves we must win to boost our confidence in other matches,” said Balogun.
