Atiku group to inaugurate leadership forum for youths’ empowerment

A non-political, non- religion, non-ethnicity, and regional organization, Atiku Leadership Forum (ALF) has attracted international organisations notable for their speciality in erecting moveable booths an exhibition stands.
The forum recently reviewed its plan to erect 38 project activation/data collection booths in the 36 states of Nigeria including Abuja and presented it to Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, in a comprehensive Blue-Print, signed by its two leading national executives, Mazi Mark Iheanyi and Alhaji Iliyasu B. Zaki.
Responding to the vision, the national media coordinator of the group, Tony Mike said that the proposal was aimed to raise more than N10 billion to complement the works and proposals initiated by Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to create jobs and empowerment programme for the Nigeria youth.
The booth will serve as a data collection centre, but importantly as a recreation and talent discovering/enhancement platform. The media coordinator explained that when the booths are erected it will carter for about 2000 youths daily who will visit the site in quest for opportunities.
The idea to start a leadership forum for Atiku, the chairman Mazi Mark Iheanyi said was conceived about two years ago and with the encouragement of some of his close friends who he now call National Leaders/Think Tanks they studied and followed activities, growing unresponsiveness in governance since the country returned to democratic dispensation and the current debate and unfriendliness generated by the failed Government policy.
This failed government policies the forum said gave democratic space to undemocratic individuals masquerading as politicians, and in all its findings, Atiku’s profile and proposal for Youth Education, Talent Management and Empowerment sounded more progressive than any other and as a result the group pinched its tent with Atiku as a person, and for the past two years have been busy with documentations, ideals and consultations with notable organisations to develop proposal which will give its support to the hunger and altruism of Atiku Abubakar.
The forum have followed Atiku’s track records between his terms in office as Vice President of Nigeria; thereafter allowed Obasanjo to re-contest for the second term in office, even when it was clear he was a leading, possible and choice candidate in that election.
One of the many vision of the forum according to the founders, even though they insists that it is not politically motivated, but it hope to use the platform and structure to revamp Atiku Abubakar’s vision to institute a new generation of leaders (youths) who can construct a bridge across the old fault-line of Ethnicity, Religion and Region;
create a Political Youth Campaign (PYC) and a Grassroots’ Political Movement (GPM) that will champion the Vision, Mission and Ambition of His Excellency, Atiku Abubakar.
This is even as he strongly desire to become the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria come 2019 general election.
The Atiku Leadership Forum said it will give its greatest attention in this present political dispensation.
