In his acceptance speech, the new National Secretary said he was ready for the challenges and responsibilities of the office.

Fundamentally, he said, his responsibility is to “promote and foster national unity and political stability”, as he promised to serve the greater intetest of the party and the country at large.

He said ” I will strive to defend the mandate given the APC by Nigerians. I will assist the National chairman, will work with party leadership, party governorsabd National Assembly members in line with the constitution of our great party.

“I will remain grateful to the leaders, will consult with every organ of the party. I will not work for myself but work for the party”.
