Anambra 2019: Group endorses Chukwuma Paul Chukwuka
The last has not been heard about the upcoming Anambra State governorship election billed for November 2019. A group, Good Governance Watch, noted for its grassroot support for candidates at every election, has thrown its weight behind the candidacy of Chukwuma Paul Chukwuka , an aspirant under the platform of All Progressives Congress, APC.
In a statement by its National Coordinator, Chief Solomon Ejike, it described Chukwuma as someone with unblemished record. It stated that among all the contenders for the position under the platform of the ruling APC, none has the track record of unblemished success like him.
“Anambra State cannot afford anything less in terms of the right candidate for the position of governor. The path set by the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC is such that Chukwuma is the only one who the cap fits. We have seen his track record over the years and have decided to publicly endorse him.”
Chief Ejike said the group has decided to support the aspirant because they believe the youths and people of Anambra will benefit from his wealth of experience; more so as he has demonstrated uncommon commitment to the growth of the state.
The group therefore called on the leadership of APC both at the state and national level to lay aside every sentiment leading to primaries in order to ensure that the right candidate emerges to contest against any other candidate from another party.
