Amokachi’s twins bag Besiktas contracts

Ex-Nigeria international and JS Hercules of Finland manager Daniel Amokachi has said he is delighted his twin sons, Nazim and Kalim, have signed for his former Turkish club Besiktas.
“Happy to announce that my sons have taken a giant step in their football careers signing a 1-year deal with my former club, Besiktas,” reported Amokachi on his Facebook page.
“I have always underlined the importance of education to them, but having sat enough in the study halls, the call of the football grounds has been too difficult to resist. I can understand that very well, too.
“I and my wife will be following their journey with great interest and pride.
“I want to thank from the bottom of my heart both Hercules and Besiktas for giving us this chance.”
The twins trained with JS Hercules for few months under the tutelage of their father, before they went for a week’s trials with Besiktas U-21 after which they were asked to stay for another one week and thereafter they were offered deal.
Both are attack-minded players as they play from midfield and wings.
Amokachi, now 43, played for Besiktas between 1996 and 1999.
