Algerian side JS Kabylie appoint Tunisian Zelfani as new head coach

Algerian side JS Kabylie on Tuesday appointed Tunisian Yamen Zelfani as the new head coach replacing the sacked Hubert Velud.
In a statement posted on their social media pages, the club announced that Zelfani has been appointed for a period of three years effectively.

Zelfani will take over after Velud, who has been shortlisted to take over the vacant Sudan national team role and try to steady the club’s season.
On Friday, the club dismissed experienced coach Hubert Velud after only seven months at the club. The decision came hours after club lost 1-0 to USM Alger. They have also been knocked out of Caf Confederation Cup.

“Following a meeting organized between the club leaders and Hubert Velud, it was decided to end the collaboration between the JSK and its main trainer in an amicable manner,” the club posted on Twitter.
