Community leaders laud lawmaker, Alabi’s representation at project inspection

Politicians and leaders of thought in Egbeda/Ona Ara federal constituency of Oyo State have lauded the House of Representatives member from the area, Akin Alabi, over his quality representation.

The praises were showered on the lawmaker when Team Akin Alabi conducted an inspection of ongoing road and bridge projects in Egbeda and Ona Ara local government areas of the state, as part of efforts to ensure quality standards and timely delivery of the projects.

Speaking through his media aide, Hameed Mustapha Ramadan, Hon. Akin Alabi emphasised the significance of fulfilling campaign promises.

“This inspection is to assess the progress of the projects and ensure they meet the required quality standards. Our aim remains the sustainable development of our communities,” he stated.

Director General of the Akin Alabi Campaign Organisation, Honourable Adebowale Amoo, also
highlighted the achievements of the lawmaker in the past year.

“Prior to the 2023 elections, we campaigned on the premise of effective representation. In just 2024, we have initiated impactful projects, including the reconstruction of six roads, three link roads, and a bridge,” he said.

The community leaders in the two local government areas commended Akin Alabi’s dedication and vision.

One of them, Chief Ogunaike, proprietor of Hope Farm and Feeds, described the projects as “transformative,” while a prominent community leader in Ona Ara, eminent broadcast journalist, who is also the Group General Manager of Fresh FM Nigeria, Alhaji (Chief) Abolade Salami, praised the lawmaker for his “unequaled and fantastic representation.”

The projects inspected during the visit included Hope, Salawu, Acorn, Ariwoja Aroye Akinfenwa roads , Ajao – Muslim, Idi Osan -Olaogun and Acorn – Hope Junction link roads.

“This inspection demonstrates Hon. Akin Alabi’s strong dedication to effective governance and the fulfillment of his campaign promises for the Egbeda and Ona Ara federal constituency,” Ramadan said.
