Tailor’s closet debuts Aurora collection: A fusion of colors and style

Every young girl dreams of wearing something vibrant, beautiful, and fit for a princess. Tailor’s Closet, a brand gaining recognition in children’s fashion, brings this dream to life with its latest offering, the Aurora Collection.

This collection is a thoughtful blend of creative styles, fabric choices, and colours, all coming together in a way that captures the youthful spirit and charm. The launch, held during one of their pop-up mini-fashion events, was perfectly timed with the end of the school session, catering to the demand for special gowns for school parties.

Owanate Collins Jack, the emerging talent behind the Aurora Collection, has made a significant mark by merging his budding design skills with his passion for illustration. The result is a collection that feels both whimsical and refined, with shades of green, red, blue, and other complementary hues carefully balanced to create a visually appealing lineup.

Collins’ ability to translate his illustrations into tangible designs is noteworthy, with each dress reflecting meticulous attention to detail.

The Aurora Collection showcases Collins’ potential as a designer, with each piece crafted to be versatile and adaptable. The dresses can be paired with cropped short-sleeved jackets or arm-length gloves, allowing young girls to feel stylish while still embracing their childhood.

This combination of style and practicality is a key feature of the collection, making it suitable for children aged 6-13 who want to express their princess-like elegance.

Crafted from Ankara fabric lined with cotton, each piece in the collection is available in either midi or maxi ball gown styles. The strapless semi-sweetheart neckline and the flowing, voluminous silhouette will resonate with young girls, giving them a sense of royalty.

The collection’s simplicity is its strength, allowing each dress to stand out with minimal accessorising. Collins’ careful attention to the strapless design enhances the ball gown aesthetic, ensuring that the dresses are both beautiful and comfortable, with no loose threads or movement restrictions.

A particularly thoughtful touch is the inclusion of two pockets on each side of the gowns—a feature that recognises the practical needs of young wearers.

This small but meaningful addition highlights Collins’ consideration for both style and functionality. Overall, the Aurora Collection is a promising step forward for Tailor’s Closet, reflecting a commitment to creating fashion that is not only beautiful but also practical and timeless for children.
