I don’t have stroke, says John Okafor, Mr. Ibu

One of Nigeria’s most popular joke crackers and Nollywood strongman John Okafor, also known as Mr. Ibu says the news making the rounds that he is down with stroke is false.

In an Instagram video viewed by Daily Times, Ibu, said the news, which he described as ‘wicked rumour’ was the handiwork of his detractors, saying he has handed them to God.

“Oh God! People are saying that I have stroke that I am down with stroke, why? How can you announce somebody’s sickness and you have many, you don’t even announce one.

I don’t have any stroke please. This is my wife, my humble wife. Well, we hand over everything to God.”

Ibu’s reaction followed a report on Thursday that he was hit by a mysterious stroke shortly after he returned from a recent trip to Owerri, Imo State.
