Nibo monarch lauds Anambra gov’s community dev’t projects

The traditional ruler of Nibo, Eze Michael Chukwuemeka Ngene, has commended the Anambra State government for ensuring government presence in the community.
Eze Ngene, who spoke during a cultural forum in the community, expressed delight in the completed pavilion under the first phase of the choose-your-project initiative for all communities in the state, by the Governor Willie Obiano administration, the awarded Awka- Ifite Nibo Isiagu road and other three roads in the community.
The royal father further acknowledged that three transformers have been approved for the community courtesy of the state government and urged his subjects to always think home to enhance development in the town.
Speaking during the occasion, the wife of the President General of the community, Engineer Mrs. Ethel Akuvue, used the forum to commend Chief (Mrs.) Ebelechukwu Obiano, for assisting the Governor in enhancing development in the state and expects more women participation in the affairs of Nibo town.
In their separate reactions, a retired Director in the Federal Ministry of Education, Sir Emma Obiocha and an indigene of Nibo, Professor Chikodi Anigbogu, described Governor Obiano’s good governance as exemplary while expecting Nibo indigenes to be more focused in the development of the town
