Obiano charges students on quality education

Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State has joined the Roman Catholic faithful in celebrating the feast of Christ the King.
Addressing the congregation at the Christ the King College, Onitsha, Governor Obiano advised students to imbibe the culture of quality academic standards.
The Governor said this would enable them to achieve acceptable academic excellence.
Governor Obiano tasked teachers to be dedicated to their duties.
He noted that such commitment would help them to perform better in public examinations.
Earlier in a homily during the mass, the Archbishop of the Catholic Archdiocese of Onitsha, Most Reverend Valerian Okeke, charged Christians to humble themselves before God to enable him lift them up.
Most Reverend Okeke urged them to be good shepherds in all their endeavours.
He said one of the attributes of effective Christian living was catering for the needy and the oppressed in the society.
The Archbishop advised political, religious, community leaders and other stakeholders to always show positive attributes to enable the younger ones emulate them.
