2019 Elections: Group seeks partnership with INEC for credible polls

A Non Governmental Organization (NGO), Campaign for Development and Democracy in Bayelsa (CDDB), has called on serious civil society and other relevance organisations in the state to partner the Independent National Election Commission to achieve credible elections in the forthcoming general election.

The group made their position known yesterday during an interface with the leadership of INEC at the Bayelsa state headquarters.

Speaking during the occasion, the Executive Director of CDDB, Dr. Konrad Welson, commended the resident electoral commissioner, management and staff for keeping the commission afloat in spite of the daunting challenges facing the state’s office especially with the past violence experiences during election.
