11 die in Kenya road accident
At least 11 people have died in a road accident in Kenya’s western county of Kisumu, privately-owned
It says that the public service vehicle, known locally as matatu, was travelling from the border town of SIrare to Kisumu before it veered off the road and hit a ditch.
Survivors have been taken to local hospitals, the report adds.
Road accidents are common in Kenya mostly because of overloading and speeding.
