Wikki, Plateau, El Kanemi win at home
Wikki Tourists, Plateau United and El Kanemi Warriors posted home wins on Sunday in continuation of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
Wikki edged past Niger Tornadoes 2-1, Plateau pipped Lobi Stars, while El Kanemi stopped FC IfeanyiUbah also 2-1.
In Jos, two quick-fire goals by Nuhu Julius and Sunday Ingbede cancelled out Tony Okpotu’s effort for Lobi.
Okereke Maduabuchi put IfeanyiUbah ahead 1-0 at Katsina, before Ibrahim Mustapha equalised for El Kanemi and Agoha Otakho netted the winning goal for the home team from the penalty spot on 75 minutes.
