West Ham make Iheanacho bid

English Premier League club, West Ham have made a bid for Manchester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho. This is according to Sky sources as speculations continue to grow that the 20-year-old is on his way out of the Etihad Stadium.
City value the Super Eagles attacker at £20m and several other Premier League clubs are reportedly interested in his services.
West Ham are unlikely to meet City’s sky-high valuation but they are hopeful of getting a deal done after tabling a first formal bid which is designed to get things moving.
Iheanacho has started only once for City in all competitions in 2017.
That was on January 2 against Burnley and it is believed that he is not in manager Pep Guardiola’s long-term plans.
However, City could be interested in a loan as they realise he is a good prospect but has found it difficult to get into the first team at the Etihad.
Iheanacho scored four goals in 20 Premier League appearances for City last season.
West Ham are keen to strengthen their strike force especially after allowing Jonathan Calleri to leave after having him on loan.
They have also agreed a Bosman-style free transfer deal for City’s Pablo Zabaleta who is out of contract this summer.
Meanwhile, Nigerian attacker Henry Onyekuru reportedly has multiple European teams chasing his signature in this offseason following a great campaign for Eupen.
According to the Daily Mail, Premier League clubs Swansea City and Brighton & Hove Albion are being linked with a move for the 19-year-old.
Onyekuru scored 24 times for Eupen in the 2016/17 season and is regarded as one of the brightest young attacking talents in Europe.
The Nigerian is a known target for Arsenal, while his advisers also have revealed that offers from Red Bull Leipzig, Schalke, Borussia Dortmund, Monchengladbach, Lyon, Lille, Monaco, Nice, Atletico Madrid, Sevilla, Fiorentina and Roma are also on the table.
Onyekuru is set to make his debut for Gernot Rohr’s Super Eagles later this week when they face Togo in a friendly match in Paris.
