Voters Registration: Ekiti Govt Declares Thursday, Friday Work-Free Days

The Ekiti State Government has declared tomorrow, Thursday 27th April and Friday 28th April as work-free days.

The State Head of Service, Dr Olugbenga Faseluka said the declaration was to enable workers participate actively in the registration and revalidation of voters’ register in the State.

Dr Faseluka who stressed that it is mandatory for all Public Servants to mobilize and participate in the exercise said the holiday period should be used solely for the civic exercise.

He stated that government would frown on workers who use the period for travel purposes or any other purposes aside the voters’ registration for which it is declared.

The Head of Service wishes the workers a happy registration exercise.
