Paul Scholes have given a priceless reaction to suggestions Steven Gerrard was a better player than the Manchester United legend.

Gerrard announced his retirement from the professional game on Thursday, with the 36-year-old having recently left LA Galaxy.

The Scholes-Gerrard debate has long been a hot topic amongst supporters, with the United man often left out of England sides due to the presence of the Liverpool icon.
