Valencia targets Chelsea keeper Kepa Arrizabalaga

La Liga side Valencia are reportedly keen on signing Chelsea keeper Kepa Arrizabalaga in the summer transfer window.

The Spain international became the world’s most expensive goalkeeper when he joined Chelsea from Athletic Bilbao in 2018. However, he has largely struggled to make his mark at Stamford Bridge.

Experienced Argentine Willy Caballero edged Kepa out of the first XI before the English Premier League was suspended in due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo reports that Chelsea are willing to offload the Spaniard and Valencia have shown strong interest in signing him.

The publication adds that Los Che are in the market for a replacement for Jasper Cillessen and view Kepa as the ideal player to join the club ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.

The former Bilbao youngster has only kept six clean sheets in 25 Premier League outings this term.
