USA based entertainer Kristen speaks on Qualitative Education

Known for playing conscious music, USA based entertainer, Oluwagbenga Oluwafemi Dawodu better known as Kristen has shared his thought provoking view on the importance of qualitative education and dimensions through which it can be achieved.

He said “a good quality education is one that provides all learners with capacities they require to become economically productive, develop sustainable livelihood, contribute to peaceful and democratic societies and enhance individual well being, the learning outcome that are required vary according to context.

Furthermore, he said  education leads to empowerment, a process of strengthing individual, organization and communities so they get more control over their own situations and environments. Quality education is a crucial factor in combating poverty and inequality in society. For a child or even an adult to get quality education they must go through many dimensions like  equity, contextualization and relevance, child friendly teaching and learning, sustainability, balance reproach, learning outcomes and so more that I can't continue to mention. 

 He said "quality education will not just happen, it takes processes, which could be well trained teachers who continually engage in well professional learning and development, well managed, child friendly like I said earlier, gender fair, classrooms and schools skilled based, child centered participatory methods, skillful assessment to facilitate learning and appropriate technologies, so many but I will love to stop there. Children should be taught languages they understand and through which they can learn.
